generated by the restraints and trimming points. For this reason Spidertech™
Integrated System has a number of structure types
used to provide the desired shape, stability and weight.
The central or primary system, thanks to its natural web-like geometry,
is used to effectively absorb the dynamic load and redistribute it onto
a wide area of the sail.
The use of various orders of secondary structure allows an infinite number
of solutions and the analysis software is designed to aid the designer
in optimising the structure by providing a realistic interpretation
of the areo-elastic phenomena.
